- Love it! As if it we're today! Very timely.
- This book is a great treasure for anyone looking to not only find Peace in life, but maintain it. The author puts all the responsibility of living a peaceful life squarely on the shoulders of the seeker. So many of us blame circumstances and people for our stressful and hectic lives and carry negative attitudes because of them. My 1914 copy of this book seems as if it were written today. First I was intrigued by the author's teaching about resistance and resentment in our lives. Then in closing I was blown away by her equivocating Peace to Health (Peace is the health of the spirit). The beauty in this book is that the author not only points out the obstacles to obtaining Peace, but tells the conditions by which one may attain it. It all begins with being true to ourselves and the willingness to want growth and change. You've heard it all before probably, but something about this timeless book strips it down to its core. And God is always right there with us, patiently praying that we discover his blessing for our sake. A very enlightening read indeed.
